Vaille que vaille
Collectif Sans Attendre

What do electro music, Scooby-Doo and beekeeping have in common? What does "Copiaus" mean? Why does a troupe of cheerful rogues leave the capital following a man they call "le Patron"? And what are they coming to do in a small Burgundian village?
1925: young actors arrive in Burgundy with their dreams and ambitions. They discover a region, its traditions, its wines, its songs and its inhabitants. A joyful theatre is born from this encounter. Both scholarly and popular, it draws upon the great repertoire as well as farce, but also upon winemaking culture and stories. Their shows combine theatre, dance, mime, singing and masks.
Vaille que vaille, a learnedly unhinged cabaret, has fun with and unpacks the story of the Copiaus, a little-known and mythical troupe that lived on the Côte de Beaune one hundred years ago. An irreverent tribute in the form of a dinner show.
