In a programme created especially for Beaune, the Ensemble Kerygma poetically recreates the atmosphere of a Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve in Spain at the end of the 16th century. Plainchant, polyphony by Victoria and Morales and pieces dedicated to Christmas answer one another, with the motet O magnum mysterium as the guiding thread.
From the contemplation of Matins to the joy of Midnight Mass, the programme leads from the silent anticipation of the night to the radiance of the Nativity. An experience in which the intimacy of prayer gradually opens up to the joy of Christmas.

At 15:30, come and rehearse a few pieces from the programme with the Ensemble Kerygma and sing them during the concert. Open to all, on presentation of your ticket.
