To celebrate 20 years of musical encounters, the Beaune Blues Boogie Festival bridges tradition and modernity by bringing together loyal artists and a new generation of musicians.
The Crazy Hot Boogie Night brings together top names for a true marathon of piano solos and duos with a high-voltage rhythm section.
American Henri Herbert, a world benchmark in boogie and blues and undisputed showman, will share the stage with Katharina Alber, an Austrian artist whose piano playing and vocals combine energy and joie de vivre. Ragtime, Harlem Stride piano and boogie-woogie revisited by Sébastien Troendlé, an exceptional French pianist, will meet the spirit of swing and classic jazz freshly revived by the group Les Silkys.
Jean-Pierre Bertrand, pianist and organiser of the BBB Festival, will join Les Silkys to deliver his torrid swing, ahead of a final jam bringing all the artists together on stage. A unique evening where improvisation and collective energy will thrill the audience well into the night!
