Festivities of the 166th Vente des Vins des Hospices de Beaune

The world's most famous charity wine auction, the Vente des Vins des Hospices de Beaune takes place every year on the 3rd Sunday of November.

Professionals, connoisseurs and casual wine lovers gather for 3 days of festivities, in pure Burgundian tradition.
On this occasion, many wine merchants (maisons de négoce) and estates open their cellars.
On the programme: prestige tastings, old vintages, grands crus and of course cellar visits.

Several musical and folklore groups will bring the streets of the town centre to life throughout the weekend.
At nightfall, light projections are cast onto the facades of seven emblematic sites in Beaune, evoking their history and symbolism.

Not forgetting the unmissable event for runners: the half-marathon through the vineyards around Beaune, on Saturday afternoon.
